COVID CLASS GUIDELINES

Following government and IDTA guidelines closely we may now return to dance.  Until June 21st at the earliest the following measures are still in place.

Entry/Exit to the Building

  • Please wait in your car until called in to the building for your class

  • Temperature is taken upon entry

  • A few Track and Trace questions will need to be completed before the class starts

  • The NHS scan for track and trace is visible on the building.

  • Hand sanitizing or hand washing is essential at the start of the class

  • Masks must be worn on entry to the hall but are not necessary when dancing unless you prefer to use them

Social Distancing

  • The floor will be divided into personal dance space unless you are having a private lesson

  • Teachers are at present unable to dance with anyone so singles will have to wait a little longer

  • Partnering/contact dancing is permitted when members of the same household/support bubble attend together.

  • Maximum class numbers will be determined by the size of the space and the current Government/IDTA directives.

  • Face coverings and other PPE are not required whilst dancing. However, you may wear a face covering if preferred.

Cleaning surfaces and the hall

  • A thorough regime is in place for cleansing of the hall.

  • Before your lesson all necessary surfaces will be wiped with antibacterial gel

  • Cleaning of touch surfaces and door handles will be done between each session

  • There will be antibacterial gel available.

We have been working hard to ensure that classes and lessons will be enjoyable and fulfilling even in restricted space
